As much as I love fresh mountain air, tree lines, and magical forests, a big piece of my heart is always at the ocean. Spending time at the beach will always be a favorite in our family. And although we tend to spend more time in the mountains, I am so happy that our kids love going to the beach. When we tell them our destination, the excitement is contagious, and I feel like a kid again ready to play in the sand and bury my toes.
