Mountain Adventures

Before snow settled in the mountains, we headed up to Mowich Lake, an area only accessible during late summer and fall. I had only heard about this place for years before, my husband even tried taking me once, but the snow made it impassable. When he was deployed, Alyx, Kate, and I finally reached the top, and it was as amazing as I thought it'd be! You can see that, HERE.

Mountain lakes are always something else, surrounded by trees, and so fresh and cool you can't resist! I seem to never have our kayak or canoe on hand, but I hope get out on the water next time. There's still more to this adventure I can't wait to share... until next time :).
