PNW Coastal Beach Hideaway

After hours of driving, our restless legs were ready for adventure. Our eyes had been taking in the scenic landscape the whole trip, but nothing prepared us for the breathtaking coastline we would soon be exploring. Now a must-see family stop every trip we make to the Olympic Peninsula, we love hiking in to the driftwood covered beaches. The air is fresh, the sky is blue, the water is crashing up teasing to soak you if you get too close. The kids make forts and teeter totters and run around playing with the dogs, who if we are alone, get to be leash-less. It's so freeing, moments of uninhibited adventure, feeling home while not actually being at home.
