This weekend was one for the books. Truly, time well spent. And it all started with the husband bringing home flowers and coffee.
On a whim, we decided we needed some fresh air. The idea was for just the day, but with the drive and the time we could actually leave home meant an overnight would be the best use of time - so we did. And it was so worth it. It was slow and relaxing. I found us this cute, vintage, and oh-so-interesting cabin to stay at near the beach, followed by some good home-cooked meals and time spent together with no distractions. We talked a little, played and explored a lot, and even though we're in the midst of some big decisions for our family, we know when to cut the talk and just ENJOY. Getaway success!
